Workshop - Adobe Illustrator for scientific presentation and publication

When you complete this workshop, you will be able to generate your figures for scientific publication, grant applications, and presentations using Adobe Illustrator (AI)

Specifically, you will be able to:

  1. Generate your figures using graphs (from any source), images, photos, and traces.
  2. Create charts, simple models, and illustrations.
  3. Save or export your figures in the right file format and size for submission or any other applications.

What will you need?

  • Computer
  • Installed Adobe Illustrator software
  • Basic computer skills – no previous knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is required.

Where, when, and how?

  • A minimum of 5 participants is required to schedule times/dates for the workshop.
  • Four sessions (~1-2 hours per session) will include theory and homework assignments.
  • Since I’m very familiar with the world of academia, science, and research, my workshops are very flexible to suit your needs.
